Barry Kleider
Before opening his own studio in 1993, Barry Kleider worked as a reporter/photographer for seven years, earning nine awards including two for news photography. His work has toured nationally and he has received commissions from The Oakland Museum of California and the Hayward California Historical Society. His work is in the permanent collection of the University of Minnesota Landscape Aboretum as well as many private collections.
Kleider has taught photography at the Como Conservatory in St. Paul, Minnesota as part of the Concordia College Botanical Illustration Progam and at the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. He is a roster artist with the Minnesota State Arts Board, Young Audiences of Minnesota and the North Dakota Council on the Arts.
